I attended the fourth annual Toronto Flamengo Festival this weekend. It was held at the CNE Queen Elizabelth Theater and had approximately 600 attendees. It was a chic crowd and a mix of young urban and mature fans. I believe that many had an interest in a varied forms of spanish dancing such as salsa and meringue.
The dancers were broken into Canadian component for the first half and Spanish International dancers for the second part.
Any spanish dance enthusiast will enjoy this festival and the seminars that go with it.
Check it out online for updates.
