Spray Lake Waterskiing & Wakeboarding - The Uncottage

When you get tired of fighting traffic on Hwys: 401, 400 and 11, 35 etc to get to the cottage for a ski or wakeboard ride, Spray Lake  Waterports www.spraylake.ca is the ultimate solution. Located just off the Hwy 400 near Keele and Hwy 9 is the spot for water ski and board enthusiasts. A private lake, with only one ski nautique boat that takes you along the shore for glass water, or through the course or jump, whatever your needs may be. The drivers are competition level experts, and will coach you on how to get to the next level. I had the privilege to have Steve give me my first pull of the season, and his detailed advice on improvement was both technical and encouraging. The customer service is great, and Adam will suit you up with the right life jacket and ski as required. Each ride includes a lesson, so the value for your uncottage dollar is well spent.

On a separate bay is an overhead cable system wake board area, complete with jumps, and rails for those that prefer this form of water sport. There is an operator the watches the riders and controls the cable, should you bite it in your tricks. This is great for kids to learn wakeboarding at a more affordable cost than the boat method. Please be advised this is not a poor man's sport.

For a great ski/board escape without the traffic check out Spray Lake Watersports and Activity Center. Save the cottage traffic and maintenance and have the pros manage the experience and equipment for you.

Totally radical dudes,

The Adventure Guy
