Upcoming Events - Lazer Lloyd -"Israel's King of the Blues" in Thornhill - August 31 2014

Once in a life time does one get to experience a unique Israeli blues artists in a small intimate style venue. More rare is to have one visit Thornhill and play to the community.

On August 31, 2014, Lazer Lloyd, "Israel's King of the Blues" will be in the Jerusalem Hall located at the Aish Hatorah Learning Center/Thornhill Community Shul at 949 Clark Ave West. Doors open at 7:30 and the event will start at 8:00 pm. Lazer's mix of Mississippi blues sound in a Middle Eastern context shows its true colors as Israel engages operation Protective Edge in the Gaza strip. If this isn't the trues form of blues, having to send fathers and sons to battle with terrorists then what is?

The event is sponsored by Kumah Arts and Media and Aish. There is a modest cover charge of $15.00 in advance or $20.00 at the door.
