The Maple Blues Awards is Canada's premier blues appreciation event recognizing Canadian artists. The event takes place Monday January 18th 2006 at 7pm at the Royal Conservatory Koerner hall located at 273 Bloor Street W. Toronto. The event is put on by the Toronto Blues Society wwwe.torontobluessociety.com. Tickets start at $28.00 a real bargain for such an event.
This year's performers include Colin Linden, Harrison Kennedy, David Gogo, Cecile Doo-Kingue, Samantha Martin and an after party jam hosted by Big Dave McLean.

The greatest part of the event is to sit back and listen to great sound from a perfectly designed acoustic auditorium. I feel it is like being inside a violin.
