Join us for the Midtown Blues Jam with Mark "Bird" Stafford
www.markbirdstafford.com and Ken Yoshioka. Mark Stafford is Toronto's foremost blues harmonica instructor and musician. He teaches through the Toronto Public Schools and leads the Junior Jam at the Soutside Shuffle. He is a recorded artist with 2 CD's. Mark will host the blues/jazz open mic stage with Ken Yoshioka another one of Toronto's leading blues musicians. Ken is known as The Harmonica Man from Japan
Life in Canada and has published a book in Japanese about playing blues harmonica. Come to listen, come to have dinner or come to play, have a beer and some food.
The open mic stage will be held at Alleycatz, located just north of Yonge and Eglinton at 2409 Yonge Street. The jam will run to approximately 10 pm. Bring your instrument or just come and enjoy the music and the great food. Management has created a reduced price for the Midtown Blues Burger for this event. This jam will repeat every Wednesday at the same time.
Cover charge is Pay What You Can ($5.00 suggested) to support the arts.
