It was another outstanding night for the women of the blues at Massey Hall, this past Saturday. The Toronto Blues Society
www.torontobluessociety.com did an impeccable job of artist selection and marketing. The vocalists included Diana Braithawaite, Samantha Martin, Shakura S'aida, Andria Simone, Divine Brown and Lori Yates. It was another experience to meet and chat with them after the show to learn about their major influences.
If you only go out once a year to live music, this event is worth the experience. An all female band and all female vocalists all from Canada. How much better can life get?
